Opening reception Friday, April 18, 7-10pm ($5). “The Question is Known” includes works by 30 Latino/Latin American artists as well as non-Latinos. Curator Anthony Torres writes that the exhibition “is concerned with making what should be a simple and obvious statement — that Latino artists and art practices are diverse.” A related symposium takes place Saturday, April 19, 10am-3:30pm at San Francisco Art Institute (800 Chestnut St., San Francisco).
