Lipstick glowing red
in the light
of neon signs.
A dress
made of cotton
and lace…
Lipstick glowing red
in the light
of neon signs.
A dress
made of cotton
and lace…
A weathered safety pin glows in the dark,
full moon shines through windows, gray rats scuttle,
wind shakes doors held with a paper clip,
dusty coke can abandoned in the loft,
moss grows green and black on a burger left
by a figure, transient as the cloud.
I jot down in pencil, these things I see.
