There are two upcoming calls for artists/submissions that I wanted to share with you all…

1. Calling actors, writers, directors, performance artists, puppeteers, dancers, poets, seasoned troupes and emerging theater groups to perform their shows in the New Orleans Fringe Fest, the festival of wild, fresh and original theater. All types of theater welcome: drama, comedy, dance, spoken-word, puppetry, burlesque, musical, sideshow, street theater and fearless creativity completely without category. Shows will be selected by jury and by lottery. Submit applications by July 15. Festival dates are November 13-16, 2008. Visit www.nofringe.org for applications and information or call 504-941-3640.

2. Just an update with regard to submissions for Ghosts in The Machine: We stand currently at 35 submissions with the deadline quickly approaching.
